We help people who have problems with addictions, substance abuse, chemical dependency, drug abuse,
alcoholism, overeating, excessive drinking, substance misuse, overuse, and cravings. As physicians,
we take a medical approach and begin with detoxification.
We follow this with antagonists and/or anti-craving medications and a
psychological approach based on self help or 12 step recovery programs. Although we are a treatment facility, we are a medical practice specializing
in addiction medicine. We provide the compassion and understanding that you'd expect from your personal physician.

We also assist the criminial justice system. Dr. Gooberman has extensive experience in providing
expert testimony in both civil and criminal cases, including possession with intent to distribute, DWI and dram shop cases.
Our treatment methods have been used by courts as alternative sentences. This creates a win-win situation:
it generates financial savings to the criminal justice system, and reduces the terrible impact of the
disease of addiction on people's lives.
